Helston Rotary Club Concert
Helston Rotary Carol singing this year takes place at Helston Central Methodist Chapel on Coinagehall Street at 7-30pm to raise money for the Sowenna Appeal.
It's the 25th anniversary of this event, which came from an idea by Baden Christophers when he was the club president.
Porthleven Town Band will be playing along with YOUR singing, there's no admission charge, but a donation to The Sowenna Appeal will be very much appreciated.
It is estimated that 1 in 8 young people aged between 5 and 19 have a mental disorder. Most can be treated within the community, but some require a more intensive programme of treatment and care.
Some of Cornwall's most ill and vulnerable young people have been sent hundreds of miles away from their family and friends to access psychiatric treatment.
